Don Hutson set wide reciveing records in the NFL (when they didn't pass that much) that weren't broke for 40 or 50 years.
He had 1,200 receiving yards in one season in the 40's. Just think about that stat for a second. He also had like 6 INT's in a season and kicked field goals and PAT's during his career.
