Thank you for your interest in the Bama program. However, that would be Derrick Thomas IMHO.

D Thomas is a close second. Plus Julio is alive to accept my award. But D Thomas was incredible. Did he break every C Bennett record btw?

Thomas is #1. He was the greatest to ever play his position. I don't think we can say that about Julio

They say Dean Smith was the only man who could hold Michael Jordan to under 20 PPG. Greg McElroy and Jim McElwain will go down as the only men to hold Julio Jones to under 600 receiving yards in a season uninterrupted by injury.

I do find it kins of odd that a school known for a crushing defense and a stout running attack has fielded some of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game in the pros
