A few weeks ago a sports radio station in Tennessee had a poll question out about who was better, a Texas Vince Young or Josh Dobbs.

This is how desperate things have gotten in Knoxville.

I didn't say that; I just said he is a better Josh than you. I am right. You are a joke of a Josh, Josh.

Geez, what a loser.

He will never throw the ball like Tom Brady but we've had a lot worse. The numbers also fail to reflect the impact he has on the overall effect of our offense. If you don't account for Dobbs he can crush you with his legs. This frees up Hurd and Kamara.

Damn he lit Georgia up.

Worst tackling I've ever seen. Credit to Dobbs and Tennessee for fighting, but man, UGA players were in position to stop them for a loss and didn't wrap up.

He's elusive

Showed it several times vs Florida and Alabama, he's hard to bring down.

So against "good" teams he accounts for about 240 yards, about 2 TDs, and less than a half of a pick. Not bad

Only 240 yards is definitely bad

Not if you take into account how many drops UT receivers had last year. It was like he was throwing the ball to Stevie Wonder.

That's actually pretty respectable.

Pruitt better get his shite together this year.

That was Josh Malone. Also a better Josh than OP.

It's honestly not all Dobbs fault. I blame some of the issues on play calling and dropped passes. Our receivers were terrible last year and couldn't not get open and the play calling was so conservative it made it hard to put up numbers passing.

He was actually probably the worst D 1 QB we played last year. Once we realized he just wasn't a threat to accurately throw the ball more than 10-15 yards he did nothing. And we SUCKED at defending the ball in the air.

I was always confused when people said he had a great game against Bama. He made some good plays, and some great throws, but the stats don't really flash out to a great game. I guess because he didn't turn the ball over? Didn't Bama drop 2 or 3 throws that went right to them?

I graduated from the University of Texas and I'm a lifelong Longhorn fan. I would take Dobbs over VY. Why? For that information, send me an email, I'll respond back with a bitcoin address, you deposit $500 worth of bitcoin, and I'll hit you with some Dobbs-related analysis that will blow your mind.

I think he had a lot of growing pains and his team was "young" - yea I know....

I think you will see a qb with more maturity and ready to perform at a high level. His potential is very high. His performance will likely reach very high this year.
