Free Stater's hated anybody from outside the holler. Black, white, Asian, didn't matter.
Come to think of it, not much has changed since those days.

Peterman has got to be wondering what the hell he has to do to stop being Dobbs' backup.
Reading must not be your strong suit. From the quote he posted:

1. QB Josh Dobbs made the most of his opportunity. He made a lot of throws this week that you just didn't see from him consistently in college. He was the third-best quarterback in Mobile, behind Pitt's Nathan Peterman and Iowa's C.J. Beathard (and he wasn't that far off of Beathard).
Not to mention, Peterman is on the North team, not South team. So one isn't even backing up another for the game, they are on different teams.

He was talking about Dobbs starting over Peterman, not realizing that they were on different teams for this game. Hes a damn Professor I think he can read good

Thanks and yes that's what I was talking about. Initially, I read it as them being on the same team again. tRant isn't really heavy reading so sometimes I get in a rush and *gasp* make an error. That said, anyone who thinks Peterman is the better QB is batshit insane. I like Peterman and am glad he found success at Pitt but he absolutely crumbled under the lights in SEC play. He's by all accounts a very nice guy who was well liked by both coaches and his teammates when he was here. He's also talented and was a great practice player for us. His problem was he looked like a deer in the headlights when the actual games began. When he found better protection and less competition at Pitt he was able to overcome that but Dobbs was able to do more under far more difficult circumstances and with zero experience.
