Doyou pronouce these differently?
Steven
Stephen
no...
Then by your own logic, you are an idiot.
By your logic you should say one name with a "v" sound and the otehr with an "f" sound.

Studies show that 9/10 cancer patients think this thread is the worst thing that ever happened to them

wrong. you must not be aware of certain grammatical rules.
Stephen and Steven are SUPPOSED to be pronounced the same. if ALL the rules in pronunciation were as you are implying, then "hookt on foniks wood b the standurd."
Jordan has ONE correct pronunciation. phonetically.
btw, where's my ipad?

That's how country people pronounce Jordan.
I know it's silly, but it makes them feel special.

Ehh, I like you, but that's not so...
In Scandinavia, "Jordan" is pronounced "Yoor-dahn".
Not being a dick, just sayin'.

I have not gotten it yet but with your growing ignorance, I am not sure you would be able to turn it on so I think I will keep it.

if you act like a duck, you SOUND like a duck, hell... you even smell like a duck? you're a frickin duck. most people that would naturally say "Gerdin" (not people that say it because they've heard it pronounced that way) are probably not your sharpest knife in the drawer.
People that call themselves "The Bear" though (and those who worship them) = GENIUS LEVEL INTELLIGENCE

Actually ph makes an F sound not a V sound. Like tele-Fone not tele-Vone.
Why are we arguing about this? The guy pronounced his last name Jurdan, get over it.

People in Germany are stupid because the pronouce Budweiser with a "v" sound.

u know, i'm gonna stand corrected here. you are definitely right. i don't care how auburn fans or announcers pronounce it... it just annoys me when i hear it on tv. it reminds me of the Miss State cowbells.

Auburn fans.
I could say something about smelling out potential mates in the cattle yard, but meh.

What accent is that? I speak with an accent and I say Jordan.
I didn't know that accents are the determining factor in how words are pronounced.
I always thought it was a dialectical, "You say poTAYto, I say poTAHto" type thing.

That shite makes me laugh though. People in Germany have a hard time saying words that start with a "v", even though it's the same pronunciation as "f" in German.
