So how would you feel about hosting a college football game two days after Camille?

Don't look so hot for SC, either.

If it makes landfall like that I doubt they would to play the game anywhere. Make the players go to Baton Rouge while their families are dealing with the aftermath?

Same canned response he had yesterday. Yeah, just like LSU traveled to Arizona to play the game and then returned back later.

If Florida was actually concerned about players being with their families for the storm, they wouldn't have held out for Gainesville or bust. So please drop the bullshite. No one is buying it. It just looks pathetic.

McElwain and the Fl admin are a complete bunch of rookies, this should have been moved days ago.

Thing is that this was always a realistic possibility and as far as the UF administration is concerned, this game is still scheduled for noon EDT on Saturday.

Amazing those facts are so so hard for these rantards to understand

If they cancel or postpone, nobody will be able to maybe have a maybe distraction, maybe.

I'm not suggesting that they do. I'm merely laughing at you LSU fans pushing for a game to be moved to BTR out of the goodness of your hearts

Looks like Florida AD played a game of chicken with mother nature and is about to lose badly.

I don't disagree with not sending these kids to Baton Rouge, but if UF was planning on them being with their family they would have sent them. Highly likely they have an evacuation plan that includes what the team does as a group.

After the impact of the storm was well known. That is not what you guys have advocated here. You want the team to fly out before the storm even hits to play a football game the very next day.

Now they're saying that because it wasn't moved to LSU, UF doesn't really care about UF.

If that shite hits Atlanta, I will seriously become angry.

Our traffic problems during rush-hour are already legendary at this point.

LSU set the precedent when they cancelled a game last year.
