Who could have predicted this?
It is quite the surprise that a hurricane might venture off course 80 miles.

curiously, have any of them said you'd actually play or were you just hearing their laughter?

Well, that's why they're postponing the call. They're researching alternative venues.

jesus..
prayers for the folks in FL. I hope many evacuated.
As for the game, it should just be postponed to a later date now that knuckles have been dragged.

Surely they would be competent enough to come out and tell everyone the game as scheduled is postponed in the meantime, no?

No, f'kn shite. You idiots have been acting like the hurricane wasn't going to impact the state.
On the other hand, your UF administration has another agenda. Scared to lose the SEC East will motivate the hurricane to try and make the decision for you. Hopefully, the SEC steps up and mediates this to a Neutral site.
Tampa??

If Florida would have agreed to move the game 2 fricking days ago all would be peachy. Instead it's in jeopardy due to sheer incompetence.
What the fricked did Florida's AD, President and Coach really think was going to happen with this Hurricane baring down on them? Truly what a bunch of dipshits! I will be so freaking pissed if this game is canceled and if it is this will go down as one of the most boneheaded botched decisions and the SEC should be held accountable as well!

All kidding aside, moving the game anywhere in FL would be stupid at this point. Massive evacuations are taking place.
