This is stupid. If he's suspended, that means he's done something wrong. If he's done something wrong (signing autographs for money), he's ineligible until he returns the money and the NCAA will mandate how long his suspension is.
I don't understand where a 30 minute suspension comes from.
AJ Green. Am I right? What the hell is this shenanigans?

Rumored ruling is that it will be for signing so much stuff for one person and not believing it would be sold for profit. Not for actually taking money.
So.....Clowney....you'll soon be on the clock.

His rationale is the suspension wouldn't be about accepting payment, but violation of a crazy bylaw that prohibits athletes from providing autographs if they know (or should have known) that others (the brokers) would profit. If that's all they're going on this is about to be a huge can of worms.
Edited for spelling.

A half game suspension seems to say he didn't take money but he did sign items and should have known they would be sold for profit.

He is NOT GUILTY of taking money for autographs. The NCAA has no proof. What he is guilty of, JFF should have known that people were going to make money off his autograph. Get ready Clowney, Bridgewater, etc., NCAA is coming after you now.

NCAA will reinstate him before the game.

So AJ Green gets 4 complete games for selling one jersey, NCAA "hammers" Johnny with one HALF against Rice for 1,600+ alleged paid autographs?
Seriously??? Wow what a farce the NCAA is!
