Johnny's fight was different.... way different.
Hill sucker punched that guy in the parking lot, and there is a video showing it. The guy could have had it coming, but the video doesn't lie.
Johnny got in a fight trying to break up a fight with some dumb friend that dropped an N bomb to some old dude on the street.
Johnny then tried to use his fake ID...
Hill ALSO had the probation hanging over his head. That was the dumbest thing the guy could have done.
As for our DB's being in trouble. Time will tell. This would be their first mistakes vs Hill having 2.

I'm pretty sure laughing on video is not a crime. I know it wasn't part of the charges brought against him. But simple battery was, just like your two DBs.

I think we can all agree that presenting a fake ID to a cop is monumentally stupid. Not saying it's a big deal by any stretch, but a really dumb move.

Sumlin just has no control over his team. I expect the wheels to come off this year. Lack of discipline. He will probably let them stay on though because he has no moral character.

The A&M DB's were in a fight... not a sucker punch and that was it...
I am going to go out on a limb and say you never played organized sports or attended college where you actually participated in nightlife.
Fights happened. I am not justifying our DB's actions but it was a fight not an assualt.
Its college... fights happen. Or unless you just sit behind a computer all day and have no life. What the story about our DB's didnt say (biased media) was that the altercation was provoked by a guy screaming at his girl.
But sure go ahead and compare it to Hill and his buddy sucker punching a guy. I can see how close those were in nature.
