Johnny is the next OJ Simpson. I feel sorry for his future Nicole.

This probably wouldn't even be that big of a deal if he hadn't stunk it up on the field also.
7/16 for 65 yards? wow.

quote:wow so jff's antic are a media creation? please, this punk has a pattern of immaturity and overall douchiness that is of his own making. wasted talent due to flawed character. id take shaw or for that matter, anybody but a self absorbed little douche.
People should stop and think about whether they are being manipulated by the media. Hmmm. Food for thought.

i didnt read through this whole thread, but here is my .02....besides the fact that he has an attitude problem and continues to do douchey things....he sucked it up a good bit of last night...he isnt translating very well to the NFL game imho...Tebow was an amazing college qb..and also won a heisman early...but did it carry over?...NO...and imho, Johnny will flop becasue of that reason, coupled with his doucheyness...give me Bortles or Bridgewater all day...this guy is too small and too erratic to play at the NFL level for long...he will be out the league in 3 years or less....or he will die a Brown, never accomplishing anything...not sure which is worse.....
some called Jerry Jones crazy for not taking him...maybe just maybe...Jerry Jones knew what the frick he was doing, and the Browns are just very desperate for some kind of spark...

Seriously, somebody is going to beat the shite out of this guy someday, probably in a bar.

Orakpo did the money sign, but he isn't the one that got the sack. Some people just need attention and their play can't bring it to them. Trey flowers had like half a sack last year but danced every time manziel got tackled lol. Dudes were talkin shite from the bench and he said F off. Guarantee his teammates will like it.

Cam is different. As much as I want to hate Cam, his actions are not douchey at all - almost the opposite. And . . . He is a winner, and from what I can tell, a good teammate and not about himself.
You want respect on the field and don't like lip? Win and earn some respect. You don't think Manning, Brady, and Wilson heard shite? I don't think I remember them being little bitches about it. Suck it up and play, the lip will go away.
Just remember what Jerry Glancille said the NFL stood for . . .

Yep. Manziel is a Texan and we don't take shite from anybody.

People rooting against him have been saying this for years. Good luck, hater.
This isn't high school or college. He can't out athlete defenses in the NFL. His bell will get rung, and it will be glorious.
This is all dependant on him actually showing enough to play that is.

I think it's great. I don't need my pro football players to pretend to be little angels on the field.
I really don't care about the occasional flip off or fight. Most of the time they are penalized for it or fined, so there you go. What I'm not going to do is complain about it on a message board or pretend to be shocked to my friends. "Oh my God, Manziel just flipped off the Redskins' bench!"
Like there's a single one of you who's never flipped anyone off. And if you haven't... you should. Seriously.
"But he's an NFL player on TV!" So what? He's a person who's paid to play a game where people you probably wouldn't ever befriend for any reason beat each other for our entertainment. Think about that. No, that wouldn't be out of character at all.

That wasn't Flowers. Anyway, what does that have to do with Johnny perpetually acting like a child raised without boundaries or any semblance of class?

It's guys like Manziel that make me really appreciate Shaw.
