Pretty sure A&M would have been crushed with NCAA sanctions had Manziel been on the 2014 roster.

Ok i agree I was a bit harsh on my reaction.

But everyone saw this coming. He acted like an idiot. Made a lot of mistakes. Did not listen to the right people.

No different than most people and I hope he is able to turn things around.

you're exactly right, but somehow we were supposed to think it was awesome and he was just so full of swagger then, now we're supposed to feel sorry for him. it's hard to keep up on what's pc in regards to our feelings for johnny.

I understand when you dislike, even "hate," a player and hope that he fails, but it's another story when their personal life is turning into a train wreck.

I've been on the other side of this with Vince Young. Wanted him to fail in the NFL but I definitely started to feel bad around the time he was buying out entire commercial flights and getting in strip club fights...

This is kind of embarrassing in my opinion. You want a guy to fail at his job just because he was on a rival team of the one you cheer for?

No one is asking you to feel sorry for him, piggilicious
(I'm not asking that anyway [I shouldn't speak for others]).
Trust me: If I was looking for a group of sympathetic, faith-based folks, I wouldn't start on the SECr.

I just can't imagine living a life where I wished the worst for others.
Feels toxic, that's all.
But that's likely coming from the place in me that's currently trying to prevent the little humans/rugrats in my life from becoming jackasses.
To each his/her own.
Personally, I'm going to hope for the best for #2.

This entire thread is full of posters from rival schools who are laughing at Johnny's failure, yet you choose to address the issue in regards to a comment made about Vince Young

link to center for disease control/ alcoholism
LINK /

6 deaths a day attributed to binge drinking.
binge drinking is more than 5 drinks for a man and 3 drinks for a woman.

IF you knew how deadly alcohol is, you actually might check yourself into rehab.

denial is a form of lying to yourself.

keep your head in the sand.

you're so preachy but anyway, i don't wish the worst for him at all. i really don't care too much what happens to him either way.

let's put it this way- i feel much worse for much better people.

I don't think anyone really does. It's likely more directed at telewax and his constant crowning of JM as GOAT, and he's far from it.

Best wishes to him and hopes that he gets this worked out. He is a character and can be fun to watch.

I think most posters are laughing at A&M posters, not JFF. LSU players liked him and LSU fans have never hated him. He was always messed up with his priorities but he was a lot of fun and many of us appreciated that.

A&M posters troll relentlessly and then turn into big crybabies when posters troll them back.
