I do not think it is feigned indignation. It has nothing to do with the school he plays for. This is not the FIRST time he has been charged with domestic violence. A pattern of such domestic violence often escalates. I taught one kid who had to watch his abusive stepfather murder his mother in front of his eyes. I also taught a student who was killed by gunshots from his mother's boyfriend when he tried to intervene as that guy was beating on both his sister and mother.

So by not giving the guy a chance are you helping or hurting his chances to become a better citizen? Answer this and I'll be done with the topic....Did Alabama/Saban giving him a chance have anything to do with what he did Saturday night?...yes or no.

It always amazes me when I run into fans like you.... Let me ask you this. If this was your daughter would you want the university held responsible also? The guy has charges pending against him for domestic violence and the university knowingly allows him on the team, not only that gives him a scholarship to play for them... Should there be no responsibility held by the university? You don't care, it's not your daughter, but if it was you would probably still be defending lord saban... Good lord man have some common decency..

Sigh, this is not about any second chance, it is about what he did with it. This will be it for me as well. You chose to try and make light of the actual violence (saying aww it was just a scratch and then joking it was ok if she was big).

Should Saban have ever given him another shot? I do not know. Hindsight is always 20/20. What I do know is any attempts to deflect or minimize domestic assault is shameful.

How stupid can a person be! Please tell me how the frick the U of A had ANYTHING to do with what that guy did Saturday night?. Are you really telling me that in some way, any way, his participation with the Alabama football program had ANY thing to do with a domestic violence arrest? So you're actually stating that because of the UA, the guy assaulted his girlfriend? Some of you folks around here shouldn't be allowed to operate anything that could cause harm to yourselves or others.

I mean, Nick Saban does represent the University of Alabama to the highest extent, and he did give Jonathan Taylor a chance after he was already arrested TWICE at Georgia. It looks bad on the University whether anyone likes to admit it or not.

I understand your allegiance is with Bama and it will distort any common judgement thst comes from you... One question and I'll stop( I'm sure you won't answer). If this was your daughter would you in any way find fault in the process the university of alabama took in his recruiting process?

No, my judgement won't be distorted. I have a daughter and if something like this happened to her, I'd probably save the legal system the time and money of prosecuting him, BUT I would NOT hold the university nor Saban responsible for it. How could I? They didn't make their relationship happen or cause the incident. Hell, I'd blame the guy and deal DIRECTLY with him....my honest answer.

And I was exactly right...once and he's gone! The only problem was he jumped the reservation before we could get the juice!

If they wouldn't have allowed him on campus this would have never happened... How do you not see that?

Sure it does. And now he's gone, and life goes on and Bama will be a really good team and nobody will care come the Fall. And fans will still have no control over shite like this. 26 arrests, 0 arrests, it really doesn't matter. Ws and Ls do, though. It is what it is.

You didn't even come close to answering the question because you can't...but try again.."Please tell me how the frick the U of A had ANYTHING to do with what that guy did Saturday night?"
