How did we give up si many yards rushing to ut? I was more working than watching. Was it just Dobbs jail breaking mostly?

That was it for the most part. Also had a few QB draws in there.

Is wasn't like they did student body left & right on us but it was still troubling to see UT have that kind of success considering the QBs we play beyond LSU.

Yeah I am taking off my purple and gold glasses and my I hate bama hat here. Bama is not a good match up for LSU. Strong inside running game and a very mobile QB who can throw on the run.

On the flip side, we are down our LT and will be going facing a confident & improving team with a hostile crowd on the road...where we haven't really played our best this year.

Should be a great game.

Don't worry Gumps, Chavis will not send the dogs all game. Yeldon has fumble issues, especially against LSU. LSU wins this one, sorry for your loss.

Like I said, we've had a habit lately of giving QBs their Garcia moment. (meaning it doesn't really take a perfect game). Bo turned it on in the second half and made clutch conversions on third down.

As for Jefferson, he was backed up by an all world defense.

I don't think LSU will have to have perfect QB play to beat Alabama but I don't think LSU can just show up and expect that simply running the ball will be enough to beat us. If they have enough success on the ground then they'll have some opportunities with the PA game.

So let me clarify for those who think I'm saying it takes a perfect game from a QB to beat Alabama because it looks like I misspoke. It doesn't (I think that used to be the case)...but you have to have production out of that position and UA has had a habit lately of allowing some QBs to raise their game.

Dude, that's not a saying.

You do realize that Jordan Jefferson was the LSU QB when the Tigers beat Bama in Tuscaloosa in 2011, don't you?

I thought Lee started and played that game

Yes.

Read it again:

Clue: The victory comes at the end of the game.

For some reason I thought he played the entire game. That's why I asked.

So wait you can't win in the middle of games? Thanks for denying my moral victory

Jefferson had about as much to do with that win as you did.

No, Lee got pulled after his int in the 1st qtr.

Jefferson came in for LSU's first drive in the 2nd.

Exactly, which is why this:

...is wrong - which was exactly my point.

You sure have a disagreeable way of agreeing with someone.

If LSU had played Ole Miss in Oxford, Ole Miss would have won.

Had Bama played Ole Miss in Tuscaloosa, Bama would have won.

Bama has to overcome the home field advantage in Baton Rouge. They have had success with that of late.
