They did. Now they have the 24th best defense against the run.

Surprising. Yeldon did what he wanted against them most of that game. Not taking away from Yeldon, he's really good.

In its last 4 games Bama is giving up an average of 113 yds of rushing!

FL 27 for 107yds
AR 39 for 89 yds
UM 36 for 76 yds
UT 43 for 181 yds

LSU will run the ball against Bama and anyone who doesn't think that needs to take their meds! Bama aint as stacked up front as they usually are and their secondary is very suspect!

The only time Alabama has given up any sort of real rushing totals was last weekend to Tennessee when they sprung a running QB that we hadn't really planned for (still played poorly, though).

you know what's funny? the last two times miles has beaten saban, guess what he did?

brought in a running QB both times. (jefferson)

remember the toss plays vs ole miss to the outside? probably just seeing the beginning of those plays

Oh Nos! Not the toss play!!!....j/k

It'll definitly be interesting to see if they can get it going against Bama's rush defense. I think both teams will score more than we all think they will.

i've been thinking the same
I could see a 33-27 type game or higher
LSU has struggled against the run in the first half of the season, but has tightened up in the last three games. Bama has struggled in the secondary, and LSU has struggled throwing the ball down field.
should be a fun game. I expect it to be much more competitive than last year for LSU

LSU fans (and the team/coaches) heard that all week last week re: ole miss and ran for 260+ yards on them. I didn't think they'd do THAT well, but that was certainly impressive.

As the saying goes, it takes elite QB play to beat Alabama but I haven't seen that out of LSU so far this year....but the Tigers are in luck because we have a habit lately of giving plenty of QBs their Garcia moment.

(a) you skipped the A&M game
(b) all of those teams were held well below their season averages except UT who used a new QB and new rushing attack not on film yet

the only impressive one on that list is Arkansas

nobody cares what Bama did to WVU

doesn't matter anyways, LSU has a better OL than all of those teams and runs 5 halfbacks.
