Isn't Joe Guerriero, (the attorney for Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones), in law partnership with the Jeff Guerriero the president of Pro Source Sports & Entertainment in Monroe, La.? ...... It seems a little fishy that a NFL Agent's law firm partner, is the lawyer for two Alabama football players of which one has a very high potential to need a sports agent after this year.... Do you think this Jeff Guerriero NFL Agent/Lawyer might just represent the "sweaty" Cam Robinson next year when he goes in the NFL draft?

It won't hurt his chances if he has a connect to an agent but good luck with that one NCAA

the NCAA would have to say that a player committed a violation while seeking legal representation against possible charges

you would essentially be punishing a kid for exercising his legal rights - again good luck

FWIW, they are allowed to talk to agents, etc..., they just can officially sign with them.

You should definitely spend money, time, and effort to further this inquiry to get to the bottom of this insidious connection.

Is it against the rules to talk to an agent? Is it against the rules to hire a lawyer to defend you/your rights?

I don't understand where you are coming from with this post?

As long as the Agent isn't paying for it there's nothing wrong with him representing Cam or Hootie.

Do you find it fishy that they are civil attorneys and not criminal? By the looks of the website.
