People tend to forget that Jimbo pre-Jameis was actually getting a lot of flack for his tenure at FSU. People were already calling him overrated and underwhelming as a HC. Even when he did reasonably well, everyone was pointing to the fact that he was coaching in the ACC and still losing 1-2 inexplicable games a year. I hope Jimbo remembers the lesson of Chizik and, at least for October, 2014, Sumlin. If he's going to allow a quarterback to make him, he better be ready to deal with the aggravation of still having to prove his worth without said quarterback.
Ditto...you've nailed it.

fsu friend tried to explain to me with a straight face how the crab legs thing was a mistake. he claimed he too had walked out of there with a sandwich by accident. guess folks at fsu develop amnesia when they walk into a publix.
Crab legs and shoes are really hard to remember to pay for...really!

The reporter and Jimbo go way back to his Samford and Auburn days. I do not think the Raita was trying to corner him, I think he was trying to give Jimbo a safe forum to address it. Too bad Jimbo was too stupid to pick up on that.

I hate saban and I think he's petty and small and obsessed but I respect this about him.

Hell. Rolondo McClain was a thug who turned into a hell of a football player and is now productive and responsible.

Malz has proven the same thing btw, dismissed our best defensive player for an attitude problem. same with dyer.

As much as I dislike Auburn(from a fan's perspective), I can say that I respect what Gus has done, respect his program, and I think he's a fantastic coach.. I don't think that Gus would allow any of Winston's crap...

Jimbo is the rapist body guard and media lawyer.

Thread about the FSU coach and the media and Auburn clowns try to make it an Alabama/Saban topic...pathetic.

That was not the question asked. Bama has never had a high profile player like Winston before. Very few have really.

Julio, D. hand, C.Rob, Andre Smith, and a host of others all say hello...

Because jimbo is still very well connected in Alabama. How do you think he got Winston in the first place?

At the very least, if you piss off jimbo, you lose any chance of hanging out with Bobby in the rape boat.

I wish Richt defended Gurley like that... I have more respect for Jimbo and Winston than ever now.

Cam needs to give Jimbo a call and teach him how to say, "No comment. It's an ongoing investigation."

Because of Dameyune Craig being on his staff at Florida State. How many Alabama kids has Jimbo gotten since Dameyune left? Not any that were wanted by Alabama and Auburn

Yeah, a head coach who pitches hissy fits like a 13-year-old girl when he's asked questions he doesn't like...no connection with Saban there.

Jimbo gets that look on his face that says "How dare you ask me that." He looks genuinely offended that someone would question him on the subject.
