So Jimbo's gonna move where his ex-wife enjoys living and because he wants to be around all of her friends? This seems legit.

If thats the case, that's even worse, the "new missus fisher" will definitely not want live in some shithole state.

Either way FSU can match whatever any of you idiots think your school is going to lure him away with and they'ed be absolutely stupid not to do that.

I could care less if he comes or not, but just for shits and giggles I will just say that noway he leaves Florida for LSU, noway! FSU, will pay him more to keep him, so that they don't have to start over...he who has the gun wins gunfight, and FSU already has him, he stays..now the delusional fanbase of America needs to come up with another choice!

If LSU is willing to pay Saban / Harbaugh money ($7 million a year) then he's coming.

Jimbo or not LSU will have a new coach soon and that coach will almost definitely be better at coaching modern football than Les is.

I guess that might be right. He could go from coaching a championship caliber FSU squad in a generally average conference to shoveling shite in Baton Rouge and having to get past Wonder Midget every year for a shot at anything. $7,000,000 could be the salve that eases the pain.

Contrare-I do not have hate in my heart on this Thanksgiving day! I have love for thy LSU fans who can give me a legitimate reason Jimbo would leave FSU to coach at East Baton Rouge Community College.

Florida doesn't have an income tax and Jimbo will make $5.1 mil next year.

LSU would have to pay close to $5.4 just to match them

Really don't think it's much of an upgrade.

His best team ever really wasn't much better than LSU that same year, if at all.

That's cold, Jimbo. You should treat Gus Malzahn with a little more respect.

yea ok, coaches are already paid obscene amounts of money beyond their actual value (to anyone but their fanbase) so it makes sense in a way that LSU would overpay for a coach, not that Jimbo isn't worth more, but FSU can easily match whatever you La yokels can throw at him.

not really saying a whole lot, like Pinkel, Les got by on dumb luck as much as anything.. it goes so far then it doesn't go.

Virtually every coach in college football has a huge bonus built into their contracts for doing things like winning their conference, making the playoffs, and winning a national championship.

Why the hell would Fisher leave FSU where he's at the "flagship" program in the conference and has a far easier path to reaching those things that pay him a big fat bonus? Face it, it's far easier to win a conference championship at FSU than at LSU. It's also far easier to make the playoffs and win a national championship at FSU than at LSU. Add in the fact that FSU can match any offer LSU can make and the notion that Fisher would leave FSU for LSU is shown to be absurd to anyone who can look at the matter in a rational manner. I know LSU fans emotions tell them he could come. But if you use your brain instead of your heart, you know he won't.

Would Jimbo and his wife consider reconciliation and maybe happier times were in Baton Rouge and for his family this all makes sense and he gets a raise and he gets a strong challenge . He is a competitor I think that's been obvious his whole career .

At any rate. He contacted us . As of today he is coming to LSU .

FSU can match the "raise" and you don't think he has a "strong challenge" trying to repeat at FSU in an easier conference already?

Moving jobs to lure back the ex?

You guys are going through some wild contortions trying to convince yourselves this somehow makes sense..
