Regardless how most feel about Rome. All he did was speak truth. Oh well rule dead now time to gear up for a War. First game and last game of the regular season gonna be good.

Nick Saban is really the only one looking like a clown in this scenario.

I get that, but I really don't care... Nick has won a helluva lot more than he's lost, especially at Alabama, and he's ran the program very well. If he wants to go off on a tangent, I'm good with it.

Nick Saban has 4 national championship and will go down as one of the greatest college football coaches of all time.

His championships will always stand and it will be a great legacy of accomplishments.
Most people will remember this as a cowardly act however and will not remember this as anything dealing with concern over player safety. It effects his reputation.
To steal a line from bama fans pre saban days...
"the bear would've done it differently"
I'd like to think bear Bryant wouldn't have pulled a pussy move and he would've adapted to the ever evolving game of football. Saban essentially is saying, "as long as I'm still coaching the evolution of football has to be put on hold if it inconveniences me "
Before all this bulshit I respected saban as much as any of the great coaches such as bear Bryant. Not so much anymore.
I know my opinion is just 1 opinion, a grain of sand on a beach if you will, however I'd be willing to bet there are a lot more people ( outside the Alabama and Arkansas camps) who have lost their respect for saban and have very similar opinions such as mine.
Deal with it how you like.

Oh I agree with you... 100%. Both about the comments regarding Nick and Bear.
I don't care for the 10 second rule at all and believe a better defense will shut down the hide and seek BS. And have said so in other threads.
