Saban made Harbaugh quit and run to NFL.

Such hate for Bama from Cromp and LSU fans. Damn the Bamassed folks on this board. Tip your hat to their success and strive to beat them is what I say.

Butch Jones? I dunno....but think he has a ton of work to do his first year and a bowl may or may not be in the making year one. Give him time to recruit and change the locker room attitude and I hope he is bringing in a S&C coach right away to make Vols tougher in 4th qts.

Harbaugh is pro coach...apples to oranges. He has not had everywhere near the success in his field that Saban has had in his.....that much I do know.

I respect the hell out of Jim Harbaugh but he walked into an incredibly sweet deal in SF. Mike Singletary built one of the most dominating defenses in recent memory with an adequate offense and Jim walked in and maintained.

If Saban had inherited the defense that Harbaugh did, you'd be looking at very similar results.

Jim ran to the NFL so he wouldn't have to coach against him. He scared.

He obviously doesn't want to test himself in the NFL again. He's a good college coach, but was in way over his head in the NFL.

Holy shite you are butthurt.

Both are badass coaches, but I would still take Saban.

But if Jim wins the Super Bowl you may have to give him the nod, much harder to win it all in the pros.

Sorta apples and oranges.

With equal talent, I want Harbaugh. He is a better coach IMO.

To build a college program and recruit, saban.

Harbaugh got more out of less talent at Stanford. I'd take him over Saban. Can't go wrong with both really
