I'll take a ban bet on the SEC Rant if (a) we don't beat Texas A&M in Starkville AND (b) We don't finish higher than Texas A&M in the final SEC standings.

I think these two things are a very real possibility.

Lindy's rates the defensive line #2 in the nation. Three MSU linebackers will be drafted.

Who do you guys have that's really good on the d line besides Chris Jones?

What rounds are those linebackers going to be drafted? 3 7th round picks is nothing to get excited about.

He is right, just think if they had something other than a high school offense how competitive they would be !!!

I am always impressed with their defense.

They held Oklahoma St. to 21 but the offense couldn't do anything.

Auburn got 24

Bama 20

Ole Miss 10.

Their biggest problem is no offense, they get worn down.

LSU popped them good, but mostly they play good defense.

I think that State will be tough this year, too. I'm afraid their depth and very average offense will keep them from reaching the upper level of the conference, though. I'd rather be playing them late in the season than early, when they're healthy and offenses are still finding their way.

There hasn't been the same level of dedication to the grind from you people lately.

I am disappointed.

Anybody got a link to Verno's "Cowbell's Aren't Ringing Like Before" video? Can't get the YouTube link to work but it's a must see...

This all sounds vaguely familiar...

Nick James
Preston Smith
PJ Jones
Kaleb Eulls
etc...

If James is for real(mentally this time) -- we actually will be one of the elite DLs in the country. Even if he isn't -- we've got a pretty salty 2-deep overall...

McKinney will be one of the first 2-3 linebackers off the board next year and could easily be the first. Prettymuch considered a first round lock at this point. Wells could go early too(hybrid LB that can man up the new breed of tight end). Both are athletic freaks that will blow up at the combine.

Still pretty early to be projecting Beniquez Brown IMO, but he was very impressive last year as a RsFR. Took Deontae Skinner's spot late last year...

The guy with fewer touchdown catches and 200 fewer yards last year? Try again.

He's head and shoulders better than any MSU receiver, ever.

Nah, Eric Moulds would run and jump circles around Cooper. Lewis will put up better stats than Cooper this year as well.

Do none of you dumbasses understand semantics?

The FACT is that Jameon Lewis is the leading returning receiver in the SEC.

Every year I say that this is the year Moo St. beats LSU, and every year, they get handled.
