I mentioned those because those are some of the ones that already had some Bama leanings, he had a bunch more recruits he was on, but they are still unlikely to go to Alabama.

I could definitely see Hardman, Davis, and Carter coming from that list with Warrior, Robertson, Burns being longer shots.

Hardman will go to NSD, I think the Vols have the edge at the moment but that could change. When the news of Richt being fired broke Pruitt was actually in church with Mecole's grandmother so they trust him. Jeremy's main problem is he does not play well with others but I'm sure Saban can reel him in.

Also, UGA got Tosh Lupoi a raise, they offered, he came to Saban and Saban gave him a raise to stay.

Tucker will not be coming to UGA either, although not expected to return to Alabama. Hates recruiting and will return to the NFL.

Any of you Bama guys have some info on what Cochran and Cristobal will do? Would love to have Scott, all I've heard is it's 50-50 he leaves.

Cochran will be vested in the Alabama retirement system in another year. That's no small thing for an assistant coach.

Everyone who covers Alabama for a living is saying Cochran had already had negotiated a new contract to stay at Alabama. Behind pay walls, so no link.

I do not think I would ever worry too much about Alabama defense as long as Saban is around.

I don't think you are giving Smart enough credit.

With that post I made, you're right. But I have tremendous respect for what Kirby has done. I was selfishly hoping he'd land a job like Scar, where we could possibly hire him away if he were successful. But Georgia is too good of a job to do that. But I am thrilled that his patience paid off, and he landed his dream job, and before turning 40.
