How big of a drop off would it be? I say the secondary would improve but the front 7 would weaken slightly. I think it would be a bit much to say there would be no drop off but since Jeremy has a history here, I don't think it would be much of a drop off.

You could make a Sal Sunseri our DC, and there wouldn't be a huge drop with Saban at the helm.

Jeremy Pruitt is probably just as good as Kirby Smart if not better.

Saban will have a strong grip on the d. No drop off at all.

That bridge had been very badly burned. No way Pruitt goes back as long as Saban is still there

I'm not sure Pruitt has made amends yet.

If pruitt doesn't stay here (most likely he's gone) I hope he does go to bama. It's not like they're defense could be much better than it has been, and him at bama would keep him from auburn, sc, or somewhere else that would really hurt us.

Pruitt is much less than fond of Saban. And that's coming from someone that knows him and his wife

gave him his first job in college coaching, taught him the ropes, helped him grow professionally and build his personal brand, and gave an endorsement of him to Jimbo for DC. Why would Pruitt have any problems with Saban?

(I know why Pruitt's wife would have problems with Pruitt, but I'm talking Pruitt with Saban.)

You can have that crazy redneck

I'd of traded him for Kirby and Cochran 10/10 times.

Considering the talent and depth on the Alabama roster, there wouldn't be a dropoff, IMO.

I don't think you are giving Smart enough credit.

I don't believe you're going to get Cochran.
