Thanks for the post. Please refrain from any Nastygram posts. The kid has made some big mistakes in his life, and has turned a new leaf. He is only showing loyalty the a coach and teammates who stood by him, and passing up a big pay day. he realizes that maybe he has more growing up to do and another year might help him. Nothing wrong with that.

Miles didn't exactly stand by him.

He was too scared of the reaction he'd get by reinstating Hill so he let the team "vote" on it

Well aren't you the little fountain of information. Since you sat in on the meeting - tell us more. Unless you are completely full of shite.

It is really not that difficult to understand. Hill talks to Miles, Miles accepts his apology and story then says that he can continue on the team as long as the team is in agreement. Miles could have said no at that time, but did not and allowed it to go to a team vote. He then lets the team have their say, and they say yes.

Makes perfect sense and he did not force a player back on a team that may have felt differently. Brilliant move!

What a great way to adjust the headline "Les Miles reinstates Jeremy Hill" to "LSU reinstates Jeremy Hill after team vote".

Why is that so hard to understand.

The team vote thing is so overplayed.

Miles really misspoke there.

Unity Council votes on all reinstatements. Same way it was under Saban.

The team vote people are so desperate.

Miles already decided to reienstate Hill, he just took the teams input afterwards to make them feel involved. shite happens all the time everywhere.

You guys honestly think that team vote wouldve made thay decision for Miles either way? If so ive got some timeshares id like to sell to you

I don't think that's true. If he passed up being a first rounder he is making a horrible decision.

Proud of the kid. Hope he stays out of trouble. Sure he and Redemptorist team mate Collins want a nc, glad they stayed together!

Incorrect. Committee has no say on offenses beyond the first offense.

No one honestly believes it was the team's decision. This is the rant, where tired shite keeps getting bites.

If true - classy. Kudos to Hill. Guy could have easily been first round this year.

Sorry if Germans, but honestly, bears repeating even if it is. Very honorable of the man.

Speaking of classy. Thank you skrayper for being the one and only classy Bama poster in this thread (and for that matter, being classy enough to start it.)
And Funky Tide 8 also......
