Not putting this in the same category as PSU, but if Miles doesn't kick this tPOS permanently off the team, this could hurt his recruiting.

Right, parents want to know that their kids aren't looked at as humans who can make mistakes and have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and become productive individuals.

Nope, they'd prefer the one strike and your out policy.

If there is one thing Miles will not lose from this its in the recruiting department and his rapport with the parents.

Woah. This could be serious.

TA step back from the ledge, there's still plenty of time left for a starter to frick up.

Well in his defense that's how it is at A&M

Maybe not. All I know is when stuff like this happens at LSU (and to an even greater degree at OSU when he was there) it lingers and hangs like a cloud over your heads for what seems like forever before any sort of resolution occurs.

Players do dumb stuff at every program but more often than not it seems like it gets dealt with swiftly and the player either punished and moves on or is kicked off.

He was suspended as soon as it happened. The speed of the legal system is not something that Les can control. The same was true of the JJ stuff. The first we heard of anything with TM7 was when they announced he was off the team.

You're completely talking out of your arse right now.

I love folks talking about second chances.

This was Hill's 2nd chance.

First off he's lucky he got admitted to LSU after the legal issue he had at Redemptorist.

Secondly, he got placed on probation with a curfew restriction that was rather oppressive but its no joke. Probation isn't a weekend in Vegas. Its not Club Med. Its probation and you better be adhering to it.

So this isn't Hill's 2nd chance. The fact of the matter is that this is audio visual proof of him blowing said 2nd chance. What other LSU fans in this thread are asking for now is for understanding in allowing Hill to have a 3rd chance.

Sorry, but this ain't baseball. This program has had a black eye in each of the past three offseasons including this one.

JJ had one public issue (yes we all know about the alleged academic issue the week before the Bama game at home in 2010 but that stayed private). Tyrann had over half a dozen at least.

This is Hill's 3rd chance ya'll are asking for. I'm just not inclined to give it to him based on this. I've seen enough to say that I've seen too much.

Well you aren't running the team now are you?

Personally if I were the head coach at any school it would take one felony or several misdemeanors/team rules violations for me to kick a guy off the team. And no I'm not going to count something that happened before he got to me either.

" First off he's lucky he got admitted to LSU after the legal issue he had at Redemptorist."

How is he lucky when we actively recruited him to sign with us?

" This is Hill's 3rd chance ya'll are asking for."

Maybe his 3rd chance in your book but not according to his LSU as this is only his first incident while at the school.

Dude better get his straight. I assume you can only violate probation so many times before you get jail time.

I posted this on the TR

IMO, there are 2 possible scenarios here. If anybody can think of a 3rd, by all means post it.

A) Jeremy Hill and Dude get in fight. Hill obviously handles him well being that he doesn't even look like he was in a fight in the beginning of the video. No torn or dirty shirt, wearing a cap, etc. Anyways, Hill beats the Dude's arse, Dude walks away and occupies with the other guys in the video(the ones seen in the beginning). By this point, Hill and the Dude are a pretty far distance from each other. Hill hasn't had enough and while the Dude is too occupied with the other guys, he sucker punches him and high-fives go all around. He just won the fight.

^^^ This seems to be a popular theory since a lot of posters in this thread seem to think Hill was involved before the camera started rolling. As pussyshit as the sucker punch was, it was his fight to throw it in.

Now, next theory

B) It is actually Orange Shorts and the Dude who are fighting. This seems possible since Orange Shorts' shirt is ripped. Orange Shorts possibly gets his arse beat. Now, Orange Shorts and the Dude get so far apart, it would seem the fight is over. Orange Shorts runs to his boy Jeremy (or Jeremy finds him), tells Jeremy about the altercation. This is a green light for Jeremy to involve himself. Orange Shorts and Jeremy see a golden opportunity and decide together to rock the Dude's dome since he isn't even looking their way. Hill and Orange Shorts do just that, high-fives go around. Everyone lol's.

2-4 games seems fine to me. In the case he's kicked off the team, I won't lose any sleep over it. Blue and Hilliard obviously don't have this problem. Let them carry the rock.

Jeremy Hill is a convicted sexual predator and a thug.

Dude he got a beej from a HS freshman. It's not like he was driving around in a windowless van offering little kids candy and ice cream to touch his genitals.

Thing most glaring thing to take away from this thread is A&M fans are clueless.

I haven't read the whole thing so I'm not sure but if I had to guess I would say the butthurt is flowing pretty good right now. FWIW I've already said I don't care whether Miles boots him or not.

ETA: I do love the whole attitude that he's a sexual predator because he got a BJ from a willing HS freshman. I agree that it's against the law and he got what he deserved for doing it, but it's not like he tied her up and forced her to do anything she didn't want.

He seems to let things linger in limbo for a while. LSU seems to have something every year, and it lingers, gets sort of messy, and gives everyone the chance to form an opinion. Under Saban, the incidents have been spread apart, and he deals with them in such a way that doesn't leave much room for drama.

I hope Hill runs for a C-note against every SEC school and impregnates a dozen of their co-eds, just so I can hear the crying and gnashing of teeth.

And trey should have started this thread.

And, I hope he bitchslaps a frat fig in every SEC town.
