I'm saying it'd be easier for Briles to recruit Texas kids to Arky than Baylor.
And you fricks should've tried harder. He would've bolted for $3.2M.
I don't know that he would outright reject that kind of offer from a school indisputably better than Baylor.

guess we'll have to make due with 4 and 5 star kids from South Florida, they're tougher than Texas kids anyway.

How many recruiting classes does that cover?
How many catches did Hamilton have in the '10 game?
I'm talking about guys who make an impact in any given season. According to my arbitrary standard, that's like 3 or 4.

Yet he's more offensively innovative and appealing to kids than Bielema's anachronistic arse.

Which is why Bielema hired Chaney to run the offense.
I just don't think Briles wants any part of leaving Baylor. We've had this discussion before and I would have LOVED to have had him but he seems content to ride off in to the sunset at a place where he can win 7-8 games a year and be a hero.

You do realize Texas is the Cocaine distributing capital of the US, don't you?
Twice as much cocaine comes through Texas every year than Florida.

Holy sheyat, guy at Vandy is making 3.2mil?
Is that one of the biggest salaries in all of college sports, for an AD???
Vandy doesn't have an athletic department.
That guy is also the chancellor, president, or some other role within the university. I'm not looking up the exact title, but he isn't just an AD.

Jeff Long pimps Arkanasas for a million a year while again as always the only people who get it are other fan bases. Petrino is a coach and will be back in the SEC very soon and if not the SEC then some other big boy conference after next season. Long and Slive may be able to keep him out of the SEC but they will not be able to keep him out of other conferences and off the National stage. Petrino will be back and into a BCS bowl with a major program within 2-4 college football seasons while Bielema will more than likely be unemployed.
Some things are more important than winning. Petrino had to be fired, no reasonable, rational person blames Long for that.

Is there a point to your question?
