Yes, and considering the rumors that many teams consider him a 2nd-round prospect with his Senior Day and combine performance, I'd say it's going quite well for him.

You should have watched his high school tapes...dude had serious wheels...also watch the AA game held in St Petersburg that year....he threw the ball nearly 75 yds and the fricking dude dropped it after it hit his hands...he also ran for a huge gainer. Or maybe watch Bama in 2011 after our upperclassman QB was injured and Driskel came in as true frosh....we had jumped out to 7-0 lead, then 10-0 and 10-3....and gates opened up as they beat the shite out of us...but the lone bright spot was Driskel running 35-40 yds on one play....that'll show you his speed.
It wasnt just coaching...we had the worse WRs in the country and we dropped more than we caught it seemed.

BTW asswipe....nice clip showing Driskel being sacked...but after Mizzou jumped out to a 14-0 lead we had to throw gameplan out the window. Mizzouri had a great defense and so did we...but defenses cant help it if the other team is spotted a 14-0 lead before seats were warm. Mizzou knew we had to throw....a lot easier to sack QBs then huh?

Muschamp this, Muschamp that, it's all Muschamp's fault. Some of you Gators need a serious refresher on history. Your team was terrible when he got there. I sat in the Swamp and watched Marcus Lattimore run up and down the field and carry your whole damn team into the endzone as he ran for what felt like a thousand yards against the great Urban's team. That was a terrible Florida roster that Urban left him. Not to mention all the entitlement and criminal issues surrounding the players he left. You guys act like Muschamp walked into the program and had Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, and the like still on the roster.

Let it go, be happy you got a new coach, who couldn't win with Treon either. Let's see if your new, better coach is in the Sugar Bowl in his second year.

Eh...Both Treon and Brantley had moments despite being in offenses almost tailor made to expose their weaknesses, and neither of them was as bad as 2014 Jeff Driskel vs. Mizzou.

Muschamp literally set modern school records for futility-- its almost impossible to state how bad of a head coach he was... and for all the "Muschamp got an empty cupboard" remember the 2010 Florida class which he inherited was arguably the best defensive recruiting class ever assembled by more than one publication. We're talking the #1 player in America (DE), 3 of the top 5 DTs, multiple top 5-10 LBs, a stacked DB class, etc.

If the dumbass didn't stubbornly insist on transitioning to a power run pro style offense despite every single person with eyes knowing Florida was built as a spread option team and could only transition slowly, maybe the program doesn't take a nose-dive.

Hell here's how bad he was on offense (and remember this came with non real discernible defensive improvement over the average Meyer unit)-- his best year on offense was worse than every single Meyer year and every single Spurrier year and every single Zook year (and Mac's one year)-- A Boom offense at its very best was worse than any other coach we've since the 80s at their very worst.

I can't actually believe he ran a 4.56, never seemed be that fast.

It's his size-- and the fact that he's a straightline speed guy.

Basically the opposite of Tebow's combine running ability-- where he showed the numbers of an elite Running Back or WR in short burst speed (which actually matters for a QB) but only hit 4.7 in the 40.

Jeff against teams that had inferior athletes was hilarious to watch-- he was basically faster than Vandy DBs.

Hell, he was. Pretty sure he ran for 180+ yards on them in 2012 when Pease ran some read option stuff.

Jeff's issues were always mental. That and throwing the ball 10 yards over a WRs head.

Driskel had an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl and now at the combine. He's been projected, as stated earlier, as a second round grade. He will get drafted and has all the physical tools you can ask for in a Quarterback. He definitely has a chance to make it in the NFL. He's not as bad as some of the posters are making him out to be. A lot of things that happened at Florida was beyond his control. But as a credit to the character of Driskel he never blamed anyone at Florida and has always talked about his time there in a positive light. I'm rooting for him.

A 14 point lead in the 4th quarter is one thing... an early 14 point lead shouldn't do shite to your game plan, it just increases the pressure and decreases your margin of error, but if you're changing your game plan significantly at that point, you're doing something wrong.

A 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter against us in 2014 would be a gamechanger....inept offense...of course we turned around with Treon and just handed off to Jones and Taylor against UGA and blew them out with 418 yds rushing in the WLOCP.
