But does he have any good wins? Any Heisman moments? Or is he just meaningless stats on a three loss team

It doesn’t matter what he has, it’s over. Look at the new odds . You would have to bet 1200 to win 100$

That isn’t a Heiaman moment. Did he contribute to any meaningful wins?

I see your point. But guys play the game... What happens on defense is not his responsibility.

Exactly. A Heisman winner should have some meaningful wins to hang his hat on

No matter your opinion. Daniels had a great season. His stock shot up the NFL board. He'll be okay whatever. Geaux Tigers

Last season and this season have been underwhelming Heisman races.

Mizzou is a great win. And there is nothing in the Heisman criteria pertaining to wins. Go look it up. LSU would be 5-7 without Daniels. He’s far and away most valuable. Heisman moments left and right. That’s why he makes every week’s highlight reel.

This is the argument I lean towards - if you say the heisman is for the most valuable player - you have to admit where would lsu be this season w/o Daniel’s? Maybe little luck and be 6-6. So what determines value? Has been stated plenty of times - can’t blame the dude for us having such a shitty defense. Hell maybe to get him over the hump we should have played him a little on D - probably would have helped - damn sure could not have made it any worse.

I am hopeful he wins it - but won’t be shocked if he doesn’t - it’s just tough for someone on a non contender team to win it these days - especially if there was no chatter about them in the mix at the start of the season.

So your argument is he beat 3 middle of the road to shite sec teams? Ok. Great fricking argument if you don’t know anything.

Winners are on teams that play/win in January. Not running up the score against Army, Grambling, & Ga State to pad stats.

You mean like the 350 yard passing, 200 yard rushing game that he had against Florida?
You know, the one that got his helmet and jersey placed in the college football hall of fame?
