This is whats wrong with AU. The President makes a major decision and instead of telling the media or holding a press conference, he calls his buddy that has a son on the OL.

In all honesty, the announcement of the firing of Jay Jacobs would be more exhilarating than winning another football game for AU folks right now.
Seriously, kicking Jacobs arse to the curb would be a sign that a change is on the way. And that's really all the fanbase wants right now, is to know they don't have to watch this same shitstorm go any further.

I didn't say the president called them. He said there were a few of them hanging out at the raptor center and they got a phone call saying JJ had been fired. He called me to ask if I had heard anything because I listen to sports talk radio all day and I told him I hadn't heard anything here. That's why I posted what I did on here. Just looking for a confirmation from any AU posters close to the program. I have never claimed to have inside information on the AU program.

I haven't got the first AU connection, and don't give a shite to have one.
But, it'd take a damn retard not to know that Jay Jacobs has got to find employment elsewhere. And, it anyone left at Auburn has a brain they will see that the first step in the right direction is to relieve Jacobs of his duties.

Everyone thinks he is out. It's just funny that an Alabama fan has connections and "knows" it will happen. When Jacobs is fired, as everyone here expects, this person will have the "I told you so" line waiting.
