Just got word from the Plain that Jay Jacobs has been let go. Can any AU poster's confirm?

I know. I have a cousin that tailgates with a lot of the players parents and he said they got a phone call letting them know he had been let go. Just trying to figure out if he was BS'n me.

I will always continue to be impressed with the inside sources Bama fans have at Auburn. Where were you guys when we couldn't figure out who the new OC was going to be?

I had a subject deleted yesterday due to the same lack of good sources. They were sources, but not deemed good i guess.

So AU's President called the parents of players(which players) to tell them that he is firing the AD...makes sense.

I don't know who called them, and really don't care. I was relaying what I had been told. I do know whose parents RV he parks his next to and would assume they are a pretty reliable source. I have never came on this board and started anything about AU, so if I didn't believe it to be reliable, why would I post this now?
