I e been consistant in saying he is a great college QB and I don't think he will translate to the NFL.
Hope I'm wrong.

Short(er) stature
Minimal arm strength
VERY agile and pretty quick
Were one play away from being 8-4 or 7-5
Self entitled douche
He's no Russell Wilson so deal with it Aggie

That's debatable. He may know his stuff but he gets on my nerves about as much as any NFL commentator. He just comes off as very arrogant, condescending, and dismissive of most college quarterbacks. The annoying thing about Jaws, Merril Hoge, and to a lesser extent Schlereth is they act like every entering NFL rookie had the same small college background they did. Those 3 played at Youngstown State, Idaho State, and Idaho respectively and try to act like the leap from those schools to the NFL is the same for a player jumping from the SEC to the NFL.
P.S. Jaws may be totally correct on Manziel but I still find him incredibly condescending and annoying. He acts like Manziel is a 4th rate quarterback making the jump from high school to the NFL.

Is it a complete picture? No. But it should be enough for someone who's entire job is evaluating QBs from the perspective of a former QB. I think I've watched about five of Manziel's games and it was enough to know he throws up more prayers than I would like in a starting NFL QB. But that, like Jaworski's, is just an opinion.
I have no problem with his opinion but the fact it isn't a complete picture is why idk if I like how brazen he is about his opinion. Being a talking-head on the premier sports channel one would think that if he was so out there with his opinion he'd do more than 5 games. I'm not an expert evaluator so I could be wrong but for all we know the games he watched included 2012 and 2013 LSU, 2013 Mizzou, 2012 UF and then one game like 2012 Bama.
It's fine to make an assessment after only 5 games but to be so blatant and down on the guy I'd think he'd watch more unless he was just trying to garner attention which ultimately is what I think he was trying to do.
And, as I said, I don't disagree with Jaws. I don't want the Jags to go anywhere near JFF. I just don't like people making comments just to get people all stirred up unless you have considerable info on it.

The shi thing is that all of these former nfl guys are tasked to take a certain points of view to rile up the ratings. Once you know the game the commentary isn't so earth shattering.
Even the nfl network does it, although to a lesser degree.

Hind sight is 20/20... but going into the 2013 season I don't think that list is that insane.

Garnering attention and riling up football fans is like 80% of his job description, though.

Yea, I get that, but there are guys who are less inflammatory like that and I figured Jaws was one of them.

There is a reason he doesnt actually make those decisions. Skipping on JFF if he were available in the 2nd(for a team who needs a QB) would be colossally stupid.
I think Russell Wilson has effectively proven that a gamer who can move and throw accurately can overcome lack of height.

You mean Flacco (3800 yards, 22 TDs to 10 Int and Super Bowl MVP) and Ryan (4700 yards, 32 Tds to 14 Int)? Judgement call to put them ahead of Brees, but not that far out in left field before the season started. Matt Schaub was also coming off his second 4000 yard passing season and looked to have a healthy receiving corps... before the season started. Going into 2013 Rivers looked to be on the ebb side of his career having thrown for a thousand less yards than he did the previous two seasons.
None of that is "completely useless" or "proved he was a moron". Making a prediction you use what information you have before the events occur, not after....

He will be playing an LSU type defense every week.
How will the NFL arrange for JFF to have a sprained thumb every week?
You gotta admit that was a great strategy for LSU to have JFF's thumb hit an Auburn lineman's helmet a week before that played the swamp kitties.

See, that's the great thing about the opinions of others. You can dismiss the incredibly stupid ones when they cross your path...

A few people (especially bradshaw) were very vocal that Cam Newton would never be much of a pro quarterback. frick those guys.
JFF is gonna kill it in my view.

Jaworski made his comments from Dusseldorf. He seemed mad at the time he made them, or stupid, or both.
JFF's merchandise and ticket sales appeal ALONE is worthy of a first-round pick, but I would really like to know what Jaws saw that makes him think JFF doesn't have the boys to compete in the NFL.
