I don't think people realize that the media hyped up Jeremy Johnson more than Auburn fans. The media hyped him as a potential 1st round pick, Heisman candidate and put him on the Maxwell Award watch list.
Obviously, given his play during times where he was called on and his supporting cast, we thought he would be better. Then he became a mental midget, and his best two weapons (Duke Williams and Jovon Robinson) were kicked off the team.
They're doing the same with Jarrett Stidham.
