A'Shawn will make a man shite his pants just looking at him

Reed seems just as athletic to me. The play where he pushed Watson OOB at the 3 was amazing.

Good commentary here, you guys know your stuff.
Much better than the juvenile trolling on so many threads.

Robinson is going to spend more time in the backfield, had 7.5 tfl, 3.5 sacks, and 10 qb hurries. Reed is better run stuffer

Both are beasts, but A'shawn is the better pick IMO.
He's an athletic freak for his size. He always plays with intensity. Just looks and plays mean.
At 312 pounds coming out of a stance and jumping flat-footed over a long snapper to land on his feet and block a FG, who does that? The man is a freak.

I'd go with A'Shawn Robinson. Most just so he'd be the first guy off the bus.
The earlier analysis is pretty spot on. With modern offenses, I'd go for Robinson.

A'Shawn is definitely more athletic (see blocked PAT vs. L U). Reed probably can handle two blockers a little better. Depends on what you need.

It's the classic "draft for need vs draft best player available" argument, and recently, the Saints have drafted for need and it hasn't worked out.
1st round, you have to take the best player available, regardless of position.

And this is why you absolutely take Robinson at 12, if he's even still there.

I wouldn't mind either one for the Lions but I think AShawn would be really nice for Teryl Austin's scheme.
Both are very talented guys

I think AR may be the most athletic DT I've seen.
JR is great too.
Of course, it is hard to double team anyone on that team bc you leave guys 1 on 1 or unblocked- ugh!

How many kids does A'Shawn Robinson have? I figure somewhere there has to be little kids named B'Shawn and C'Shawn...
