Meh, and that still will never be enough. The way he absolutely dismissed any chance of snow/ice was completely irresponsible. He was literally laughing off the idea as "wishcasting." People were put into legitimate danger due to his forecast. That was an epic cluster that should've led to someone losing their job.

That's debatable. The same could be said for any average meteorologist.
Spann cares way too much about the Podunk, one intersection towns. During one sever weather outbreak, I've saw him literally ignore a Tornado in Jefferson County. Every other station was covering it and it's projected path through Bessemer to Vestavia/Hoover/Homewood. Spann was talking about a separate thunder storm in Walker County.

IMO, its gotten stale. Maybe I'm a spoiled Bammer. Maybe I've outgrown it. Nonetheless, it just doesn't capture my attention like it used to. I thin kit was a mistake for them to go to a 4th hour. What do I know though....I'm not a TV executive.
Personally, I think having Sid's dad (or family) as guest pickers would be awesome. They might not be up for something like that but it would be a great gesture both fanbases could get behind.

I nominate James Carville. I don't much like his politics, but the guy is entertaining and VERY knowledgeable about college football.
