8/1? It was 1/1, so lets stick to the specific game being discussed rather than an exaggerated hypothetical.
All that really matters is that UGA had a shot to win the game before the INT ended the game, so he should shoulder his fair share of the blame for the loss.

and we dont' even go to overtime if not for his go ahead drive with under a minute left in regulation. He deserves but a small, small portion of the blame. But the whole point was it's not his fault. You can't say "we lost the tech game because of mason".

I already acknowledged that why we were in OT wasn't his fault, but we can say the game officially ended because of his HUGE mistake in OT. Both are irrefutable claims.

This is who I wanted LSU to get in contact with. Oh well, I guess the Purdue kid will have to do.

He didn't do anything bad enough to be courted by Auburn.

I hope Jacob Park goes to Alabama and becomes their starting QB in 2016.

Starting to sound like Christian LeMay et al...
Come Sept. 2016 the kid will not have played a down of real football since Nov. of 2013 when he was a Senior in HS... 2 years & 9 months without taking a real snap in a game with anything on the line...
With that said... Good Luck to Park wherever he goes. He's never been in trouble or even rumored to be in trouble at UGA. He's apparently got a lil' guido attitude(not necessarily bad for a QB) & a helicopter parent dad, but mainly he just seems to be a kid in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Hope he doesn't come back & bite UGA in the arse...

Did Park get a full release from UGA with no team restrictions?
I saw someone mention 2017 as the first season he'd be eligible for Bama, so it had me wondering. Probably just a mistake, but I thought I recalled something about an additional year if they transferred to a restricted school anyway.

I always thought that if you transferred straight to another SEC school (like not JUCO first) you had to sit 2 years first, but Tray Matthews went straight to auburn and only had to sit out 1 so I guess I was wrong.
And I don't think richt has ever restricted where someone could go. Prior to last year JJ Green saw the writing on the wall at RB and we let him transfer to tech.

He needs to steal something before we are interested.... Surprisingly, I thought he'd have to beat the hell out of someone before Bama would take him.

I don't have any ill will at all towards the guy and hope he settles in somewhere. But if he couldn't beat out Ramsey and Faton Bauta, I'm curious if he'll be able to ever start for bama.
That's the part I don't get. For the first time in Saban's tenure there, Bama is absolutely loaded at QB. Why on earth would Park even consider going there? Maybe he's just using a visit to raise his profile so other programs will give him a look?

Ah, forgot about Matthews. Didn't think Richt would be the guy to set strict transfer rules ala Brian Kelly with Golson.
I remember Derek Dooley restricted Aaron Douglas from transferring anywhere under 8 hours from Knoxville. Though I read head have to pay his own way a year if he went against it, rather an additional year.
There was some 2 year talk when Corey Grant went from Bama to Auburn, but it was just 1.
Thx

Don't want him. Can we get Chubb instead?
