I for one was looking forward to Coker being named the starter over Winston last year and was disappointed when it didn't happen. I thought he deserved it and he would be the better choice as he had all the physical tools as well as an extra year in the system. Needless to say, Winston being named the starter apparently turned out pretty well.
My opinion of Coker never changed though. Kid has all the tools (both mentally and physically). He also is extremely competitive, although I think losing the starting job was a big blow to his ego.
As for his film this year - keep in mind that when Coker was in the game, he was behind a second string Oline and throwing to second string wide outs. Who knows how well he would have performed with the first-teamers?
I truly hate to see him go, but wish him nothing but luck - he deserves it.

Dumbass can you read ? I said he would not go there is someone else emerged af ST. You can place restrictions on transfers, remember your former BB Player that wanted to go to UAB, ended up at NC.
Kid may end up sucking, who knows. He didn't look all world to me on that vid but does look better than what I know we have.
What I find funny is the a-hole types such as above who name call and question other people's intelligence without knowing what the frick they are talking about. Kid is graduating. He could play at UF next year and FSU couldn't do shite about it.

Interesting.... a FSU and Bama fan?
Born n raised in Bama. Nole at heart. I do like UA tho.
I would love for Coker to stay at FSU and take over his RS Sr year, if Winston leave after this next season. I think Coker will do well at Bama once he gets settled( I've heard he is graduating in May and I've heard August). Y'all have the right weapons around for him to succeed. People looking at his stats from this past season might think he is not good. That was in garbage time with FR and Walk-on WR's he was throwing to. That awful 2nd team OL that was protecting him didn't help his cause either. Results would have been different if had played with the 1st team. I only see positives with Jacob going to Bama. I hope he balls out to be honest.

Isn't this how Auburn gets their QB every year.
Thanks for confirming that bama is now copying Auburn in trying to succeed in this conference. Who is little brother now?

He is obviously the greatest college QB ever! Otherwise, why would the GREATEST COACH OF ALL TIME (TM)accept him into the Crimpsun Tahd Pantheon of Heroes?

Tried to tell him this earlier in the thread and he ignored it. If it's anything like the other bama-centric threads he has posted in, now is about the time where he starts to deflect and disappear.

OK, why did FSU have to release him from the Scholarship? If you remember Russell Wilson could not transfer to an ACC School.

You know the answer little brother. You Auburn fans know your place and you know it.

I have to agree with you Funky Tide. Kind of like us LSU fans with Mettenberger. Not to say that he didnt turn out to be good and certainly I apprecieate everything he did for LSU but listening and reading all the Tiger fans before his junior year, definitely that year was a true learning experience, though im sure that Studrawa and the play calling as well as the offensive line didnt help him out much. Coker might become great but I wouldnt expect him to come in and set the world on fire like a Manziel, Newton or Winston.

Well, the lack of an answer is actually probably the most accurate answer.
You're struggling here. My very first post was a concise answer. I know that you noticed, because you replied, hoping to argue the merits of that answer. So, it's not the answer you want; it's the opportunity to expound upon what you hope the answer to your question will be.
We know what you want the answer to be. We know what Bama fans want the answer to be. We can only wait and see to find out who ends up happy.

Against the beatdown ACC Defenses. What I saw from the ACC this year, FSUs 2nd Team was better than most of the rest of the ACCs starter.

It's a foolish mistake to sell Nick Saban short.
