It's super early, but the stars may have finally aligned for Ole Miss

After beating Bama @ BDS, their remaining schedule sees their toughest opponents at home. Here's the remaining SEC games:

Sep 26 VAN
Oct 3 @FLA
Oct 24 TA&M
Oct 31 @AUB
Nov 7 ARK
Nov 21 LSU
Nov 28 @MSST

This really sets up well for them. Now, will they be able to navigate even a favorable schedule with the pressure of being considered a top 5 team? Also, that Oct. 24 - Nov. 28th stretch isn't as hard it seemed a few weeks ago, but that still is a tough stretch. Can they avoid dropping 1 through those 5 games?

Should be an interesting year.

I'm interested in their game against aTm. Kelly has been getting rid of the ball very quickly but that aTm pass rush could definitely give him trouble.

Also obviously looking forward to our game November 21. If both teams go into that undefeated, that will be a heavyweight matchup.

True, will definitely be a high scoring affair.

They seem a little like the Auburn team that had the luck of the Irish a few years back. Of course, I believe you can make your own luck. OM seems to have the talent to go far.

But for the record, they just faced the best defense they will face all year.

Ole Miss has a dang good football team but I am fully confident they will have a herp derp game along the way and lose one they shouldn't. It's Ole Miss.

I agree. They are better than their opponents (LSU might be a push) and they have LSU at home after a bye week with revenge on their mind. If ever, this is the year.

We are going to lose a least one of those games. If we stay healthy hopefully it's just one.

If both undefeated will be a top 3 matchup and will be biggest game ever between Ole Miss and LSU.

Unfortunately the Billy Cannon game was the biggest. We did eventually beat them in the Sugar Bowl 21-0 that same season.

Bama's defenses have not been elite since 2012.
