You guys don't know the full picture. There are allegations of misappropriating program funds, academic fraud while he was at Campbell, several high school coaches already saying he is not welcome on their campus, top recruits decommitting, attempting to violate NCAA rules after being told not to, actively shunning former players, the list is long. Nobody gives a crap his first year record stunk. Everyone was ok with that. It was how he handled himself and the program off the diamond. He's a program killer plain and simple. We had to stop the bleeding, so Byrne did what he had to do. Good call imho.
