Nobody grows up saying I want to go watch a football game in Arkansas

Can I fly there from Houston?

When you are going all the way to Lambeau field, you sacrifice the crappiest place you would be visiting for it.

Yes. In an airplane no less, because you know...it's 2016 and shite....

The reason is most people at LSU don't care about Arkansas enough. I've visited every SEC W venue apart from Arkansas. When we lose to Arkansas I don't even melt like for Alabama or Ole Miss. It's just like another game to me and the vast majority of fans. Plus, it's 10 hrs away with stops. Far as shite.

It's 2016, the economy is still kinda meh, and people are nervous about spending money. The first thing to go in this kind of economy is leisure travel. So, a responsible decision in away game travel:
Lambeau
Jordan-Hare
Florida
Fayetteville
College Station
If I was traveling, I blew most of my budget on Lambeau already. Auburn and Florida are generally good trips to take. On Thanksgiving I'm going to be with my family, so I might catch a bit of the gimme win on the tube.
Sorry, the Arkansas trip just isn't a priority. I heard it's a pretty little town though and cute little stadium, fwiw. I'm sure y'all enjoy it.

May go this year. I've been to Little Rock in 2006, but haven't made the trip to Fayetteville yet.

I am going to Fayetteville, but didn't feel the need to lock up tickets from LSU when I know I can grab lower levels at a discounted price in the resale market.

It's 'cause Fayetteville is "Starkville of the Ozarks". Duh.

Can you blame them? They will have just gotten beat again by Bama the week before and are just avoiding the inevitable follow-up loss the next week against us.
I really want to get pissed off and curse at you for this.......
But it's probably true. If not for an Anthony Jennings prayer to Travin Dural, Les would be 0-3 against Bert.

No, no they didn't. No one wants to play on Thanksgiving day. Tamu likes it so their fans have something else to focus on when they are getting beat by LSU.

If you have the time, fly into Little Rock and drive to Fayetteville. The fall leaves will be peaking along the way. The drive from I40 to Fayetteville is one of the most scenic drives you can see. If you like that sort of thing. I do.

In all seriousness, I do wanna make a trip to an Arkansas game one year. I never wanted to go cuz the games used to be around Thanksgiving. Now that it isn't, I do wanna see what their campus is about. See if it's any good. I don't like that's a 10 hour drive there though.

TSA turned down our request to bring piss balloons on the airplane.

I went to the game 2 years ago. It was worth the trip once, but not really worth all the hassle a 2nd time. The tailgating scene was the worst Ive seen in our division, and Ive seen them all. I mean it was by far colder than any other SEC West road game Ive been to, but still. It was a ghost town before 2 or 3.

It was below freezing. That type of temp is unheard of for most SEC games. I was there and, while our tailgate scene is not at the top half of the conference, that experience was extremely far from the norm.

It seems a lot of people have the attention span of a damn gnat. LSU fans saying that Fayetteville isn't "civilized?" What sort of bizarro world is this? Just a couple weeks ago Baton Rouge resembled a third-world shithole...an active war-zone.
