I have an observation to share. We won a football natty in 64, a basketball natty in 94, 30 years apart for those two. Well it’s been 30 years since the basketball natty so baseball is on deck to fulfill the 30 year cycle.

1. Regular season champ will not be decided until last weekend.
2. Mississippi State and Ole Miss slip get back to the NCAA Tournament
3. Arkansas, Florida and Vanderbilt are national seeds.
4. South Carolina hosts a regional.
5. Alabama is a bubble team, but gets in. Auburn hosts a regional.
National
1. East Carolina finally makes Omaha.
2. Oregon State returns to the CWS.
3. NC State wins the ACC and is a national seed.
4. UCSB, Coastal and Northeastern (preseason top 25 teams) - only one makes the NCAA Tournament.
5. Iowa hosts a regional and gets beat by a lower tier SEC team.
