I still catch myself flipping through channels at 11am searching for the JP game. Old habits.

Well I remember being on JP pretty often during the late 90s but, after the program really fell into the suck after the 2000 season we were mainstays on JP.

the one game I do remember on JP was the Fred Talley game at Auburn.

....and he just ran for another 20 yards while I typed this post

And every key to the game was

Team 1: Avoid turnovers
Team 2: Establish the run (or keep it on the ground)

Then at the half, "Rowe's Rewind" would repeat this.

Early broadcasts can still be rough now, but JP took it to a truly impressive level. The 3 Daves, inexplicable random shots of the crowd during critical plays, grainy broadcasts, and mistakes that make Verne look like he's a got a mind like a steel trap. The good old days

There were a number of reasons we left the B12 for the SEC but one of the biggest was to get away from Dave Lampman (Cincy Bengals color guy...absolutely horrible) & Jim Knox(y), a 40-something little weasel sideline reporter who is addicted to steroids & shooting as much Botox in his head as possible.

If it wasn't for JP/Raycom/Lincoln Financial, Ole Miss and State wouldn't have been on tv in the 90s!

Yup!

Espn wasn't what it is now. And Cbs was a rarity too.

I will never forget when, as Devery crossed the goal line at commonwealth, they flashed up the score with UK winning.
