It’s a matter of time before conference booting begins

All this conference expansion is being driven by money and money only. Eventually a conference is going to lose out on potential money by having schools like Vandy, Mizzou, Arkansas and the Mississippi schools that have absolutely no chance of every winning.

I’m talking football only but it has to eventually happen to obtain the true super conference that is wanted for optimum money

Which school has been #1 in the country, been within a game of the natty 2x in the last 16 years, and has the largest *public* school endowment of the group?

Y'all may not respect Mizzou, but the SEC and 12 of the most educated people in the country didn't just extend us an invite out of charity.

I must've missed that. Also, it looks like Arkansas has a bigger endowment than you do

Link to these 12, I'm willing to bet the top 12 educated people didn't vote Missouri into SEC.

Awful lot of these posts lately. Are you people all just having fun playing “what if” or do you actually believe this nonsense is going to happen?

yeah, crazy ain’t it. But, ya’ll should think about moving back to the Big12. Now that the T-rash is leaving. You’d rule that conference with your cheerguys.

1. This won't happen.

2. If you want to evaluate a school's "value" in the streaming age, look at overall athletic revenue, and stuff like apparel sales.

There are schools that seem smallish, like MSU, but who have way more people who give a shite about their sports than much larger schools.

Most SEC schools fit that description. Vandy and Mizzou are probably the outliers.

SEC football programs by revenue 2022

Vandy and Mizzou are the outliers. Nobody gives a shite.

From your link:

But Vanderbilt just never seemed to belong in the SEC, especially now.

How stupid do you have to be to write this about a founding member of the SEC?

Well so were Tulane and Sewanee.

The article is about revenue, and as things go these days, attention vs apathy.

Everybody knows nobody cares about Vandy football.

I assume you're referring to the University of Missouri System endowment that includes four campuses, including the medical schools.

If you were to count just Missouri-Columbia, it isn't the largest.

The University of Arkansas System has 60,000 students and a larger endowment, but counting campuses three hours from the flagship is meaningless and doesn't reflect reality very well.
