I know Coach DuBose very well. He was the real deal with the things he said about his religion. Things going south is what pushed him toward God. His life fell apart a long time before he started pushing Christianity.

holy crap i'm so relieved. now that we know we are fighting satan and not playing football i realize why we look so bad. can't fight satan and practice football at the same time.

I don't know of anyone that knew/knows Mike who thought he was a douchebag. Sucked as a head coach and had some issues in his personal life... but one of his biggest problems was being too nice and not knowing how to tell people "no". I suppose a few people could have had a bad experience or two.
