He would have to beat UGA and I don't see that as even a remote possibility at this point.

Beating UG is not going to save UGaBoom's job. He's done. The coaching search has begun.

Foley has ran out of time. He has to be worried at this point of losing any recruits worth a shite.

You don't worry about one recruiting class when making coaching hires. Good grief.

Offensive recruiting is going to get immediately better once Boom is fired. No WR wants to come play for UF right now and we have playing time galore.

Pretty sure Foley cut Zook loose less than 48 hours after he was Croomed. Will the fact that Boom was Pinkeled give him more time?

It's Tuesday morning and Will Muschamp still has a job, Jeremy Foley must be on vacation this week or just is choosing not to do his job.

You know, if you think logical. Nothing will happen to Muschamp until AFTER the Georgia game. This is a 100% true statement.

Different situation.....Foley wanted a leg up on Urban and it was clear Notre Dame was firing Willingham and Urban was their top choice. Urban even had a clause in his new contract with Utah that he could leave for the head coaching job with Notre Dame with no penalties. He went ahead and let Zook go and got a leg up on Notre Dame, and it worked.

FWIW, the beat writer for the Gainesville paper said that he's hearing that if/when Foley fires Boom, he's going to "throw away his model for hiring HC's" and take a whole new approach. For whatever that means. He said the same thing as AUWDE notes here about his firing of Zook to be in position to hire UM.
