Yes, he is. Welcome to the mind of Stonehog.

Uh yes, hi, hello

Spurrier left us in such bad shape that we won 3 games and lost to the citadel. He quit in 2015 but he stopped giving a frick well before that. Our roster is still recovering.

It’s at least an argument

Dooley and his staff did a really bad job his last season at Tennessee is what I was told from an inside source in their program. They all knew they were going to be fired and spent most of the time looking for new jobs instead of recruiting etc.

I haven't talked to him lately, but I'm betting Butch probably just added to it.

So I think that tag team effort is probably worse. Not to mention Kiffin stole what he could and took them to USC to get them started.

It's overblown. Bielema averaged a top 25 class, we just hired a high school coach who's in way over his head.

You and I must have watched 2 different Arky teams last year, the one I saw was the weakest in the trenches SEC team I have ever seen and that is saying something coming from a lifelong State fan.

If Arky could hire Saban they still would not be able to compete in the SEC for at least 2 years.

Unfortunately for Arky big uglies are something they do not produce in state so how they chose to resolve this will be interesting.

Bielema reminds me so much of Rich Rodriguez. Both were rolling where they were, let their egos get in the way, wanting more millions at another place & they failed.
Just because you succeed here doesn't mean you will there.

You can't blame a coach for not being able to run an offense when the QB he's given is Tyler fricking Storey. Blaming him for a recruiting class he had to form coming off a 4 win season that WASN'T his doing without a complete coaching staff until January is just as brain-dead. Thinking this team had talent on it when they went 1-7 in conference thanks solely to Ole Miss doing what they do best the year prior, running a system they were specifically recruited for, playing for a coach that recruited them is, like I said earlier, delusional.

You sound like Obama & libs blaming bush. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps

So talented.

You're cherrypicking. Storey played the fewest games on that list, plus Chad had Connor Noland too. You're saying Noland isn't talented? That's a new take.

No I'm saying the criticism is overblown.

Joker Phillips left Kentucky in the same shape, it just doesn't get spoken about much due to the lack of success UK has had.

We used to. One thing that Arkansas churned out, in addition to quality RBs, was a surplus of talented Linebeasts. Not so much today.

Partly it is simply bad luck. Little Rock has fallen on hard times when it comes to football and while NW Arkansas is growing like a weed it hasn't made up for LR being in the dumps. As football goes in Little Rock so football goes at the University of Arkansas for the most part.

Partly its a system problem. Arkansas is the birth place of the HUNH spread and a ton of the big High School programs here run some variant of it. With that has come a decline in O-Line production. After all, you don't really need a great O-Line to run the HUNH at the HS level. Sadly... you do in the SEC.

Clemson should build a statue to Spurrier outside their stadium. No. Seriously.

Him "retiring" about two seasons before he bothered to step away from the sidelines allowed Clemson to gobble up most of the talent in one of the hottest recruiting areas in the country.

It screwed y'all over big time and handed Clemson national success on a silver platter.

He's up there but remember he was a pro-set grind it out offense and the new guy wants to spread. The hall of shame leaving the program in shambles: Houston Nutt (OM only), Urban Myer, sly Croom, Jackie Sherrill, David Cutcliff.

So you expected a true freshman to win SEC games for us behind what has been the worst OL in the SEC for two years? Good luck with that.

Sometimes I think people on this board think real life works like NCAA football ‘14

I would think the complete change in offensive philosophy makes a difference too. You can't run a Morris offense with a Bert roster.

Tell that to the portion of the fanbase that wants to fire Morris for it. We truly have some dumb ones.

Your fans are just tired of Hog football being shitty. Bobby Petrino showed everyone what could be done at Arky, and give Morris a few years and he may match BP.

The new clown could be worse.

He may finish his 2nd season at 0-16 in conference play.
