Little known fact: Alabama played in Baton Rouge in '91
The league expanded in '92
The bridge schedule sent alabama back to BR in '92

I love the laughs we get out of LSU fans.

No other school in the conference whines about the schedule. The just go out and try to win the games.

Hell, if any school has benefitted from scheduling, it's Florida. Prior to the original expansion, they had one conference championship in sixty years. After getting permanently assigned to the Paper Tigers, they've won seven championships in the last 21 years.

Remember who they are, pre Saban they were LSU and Saints fans they are used to bitching instead of winning.

What's crazy is that Saban has the most talented team and the easiest of SEC schedules AND HE STILL LOSES A GAME EVERY YEAR( except once).

Impossible. The SEC is a different animal every year.

Not having to play USC, UF , or UGA for 2012-13 & 2013-14 is having an easy SEC schedule.

Dude. Between you and me, last year was a flash in the pan for Florida and you know it. The Gators have been down since 2010. Alabama did play Georgia in 2012, and beat them for the SEC. Tennessee and Kentucky are part of Alabama's regular schedule/rotation. Can't make people understand that. Did Alabama get lucky with scheduling in 2013? Sure. Are there teams on Bama's schedule that can make this irrelevant? You bet. LSU, A&M, and even Ole Miss have something to say about it. We got a little over a month before shite gets real.

From the article:

Since 1992, Alabama has played more games against Vanderbilt (14) than Florida and Georgia combined (12). Auburn, which plays Georgia annually and used to have an annual series against Florida, has faced the Bulldogs and Gators a total of 35 times.

Can't believe it took this long for someone to point that out. Alabama's original #2 perm opponent (1992-2002) was Vandy.

I think LSU should move to the Sun Belt so that MAYBE their fans will stop crying.
