I thinks its great you went to great lenghts to post this....BUT....this are all examples of what goes on in the NFL. This is college ball hommie...not the NFL.

No offense, but this shite happens at the high school level...

Weak.

If I throw a punch at your wife (girlfriend) but only land a glancing blow that doesn't hurt her.....I ASSUME you will take umbrage with me, nevertheless.

Probably, even if SHE were saying "c'mon honey. its not worth it. Let's just leave"

Or, am I incorrect?

I'm not whining. Just proving my point. It happens all the time. People on here are SHOCKED that it happened.

What Spikes did was wrong but it's nothing unique to him. Someone on your favorite college and pro teams have done the same thing and got away with it. That fact is illustrated by the OP.

If you think Spikes is a "thug" because of this you are either biased or an idiot. Maybe you should watch volleyball or table tennis instead of football.

Dick Butkus and Deacon Jones think you are a fig.

JEEBUS!!

You are dense. No one is "shocked" it happened. No one thinks its "unique" (though, you folks are exaggerating its frequency)

We just believe it should be punished when caught. That's all.

That depends on the context of the situation. Where you guys playing football at the time?

Nope. Neither was Spikes. Gouging eyes, while NOT unique to Spikes, is, by definition..NOT part of playing football.

Yeah boi!!!!

Seriously though... The overreaction to something that happens in every game is quite funny.

Are you there yet? You know we're not going to agree so you must be trying to convince yourself that your boy isn't a sorry piece of shite. The play was over. It wasn't a fumble. It was a shitty Grambeling team so the game was never in question. Saint Tebag plays for UF and his alter ego is Spike get over it.

They need to make him take his face shield off.

Regarding eye gouging... no it doesn't happen all the time... it's unusual and cheap

one of the topics du jour this morning on Mike and Mike... former fat guy D-lineman (for the Buddy Ryan Eagles) Mike Golic was very clear on exactly this point

If its part of the game, why did Meyer say that's not gator football and not Spikes' character?

Why suspend him?

Why did Spikes apologize?

DOLT!

Thats funny coming from a guy like Golic. I think it was gatorrocks that showed a story where he admits to choking a guy in a similar situation. I would say he is not exactly the guy that should be leading the lynch mob.
