The Heisman is a season long campaign and LF7 was so lost and horrible during the Alabama Game that it equaled 3 games. Yea, that's how terrible he played. I was not impressed with him at all.

Henry has had a couple 200+ yd games against stiffer competition.

Fournette and Henry are pretty dang close imo.

Heisman should go to Leonard.

Anyone with common sense should see this.

Bamas front 7 is not getting enough credit. Everyone puts this solely on LF, though he never had a chance. Bamas front 7 was absolutely dominant.

I expect LF to have an Auburn-esque game vs the Piggies in prime time on ESPN to reestablish himself as the front runner.

I didn't realize Henry already won it and that he only had one good game this season.

When you no show in the biggest game of your life you deserve nothing, I don't have to hear the Leonard should sit next year talk anymore though!

You should atleast wait for the whole season to transpire. You can't win it after 8 games

The unwritten Heisman formula has been pretty straightforward. Be a great football player the length of the season. Have a "Heisman moment" by going off on a tough opponent. Optional but preferred -- have an inspiring backstory (Ingram's dad, Manziel's 3-star rating, etc.)

Fournette still has a good chance. If he doesn't win, it won't be because he's not the best RB in the nation, it will be because someone else fit the Heisman formula better (Henry's inspiring backstory would be, weirdly enough, going off in the game against the Heisman favorite that overshadowed him while the Heisman favorite was ineffectual.) Frankly, barring a total collapse over the last three weeks, I'd still vote Fournette. And if Bama loses and LSU goes the SECCG, Fournette would likely be a shoo-in.

LSU just doesn't register enough on the national scale to take notice.

Its actually the exact opposite leading to why we're having this discussion at all. Everyone pegged him to win the Heisman leading up till Saturday and now he's not the favorite because of a bad performance, that is the product of people taking notice.

Really???? I couldn't imagine a Heisman worthy player getting passed by for losing one stinking game during the season in a team sport.

He is still the favorite in 80% of sportsbooks. LSU fans keep melting but LF is still above even odds at most casinos

Why because we desperately want our boy to win the Heisman? Seems normal to me.
