Exactly, if LSU's opponent is "Tiger Bait" then there is a trap set to catch the Tiger, in which case the Tiger loses.

i've always thought that was idiotic. even with your explanation, i'm sure half of them still don't get why it's dumb.

No, just no. It does not make sense. Bait is something you use to trap someone. Plus this isn't a cheer its a taunt.

It is a taunt for sure.

Bait is something you use to attempt to trap someone. Having and using bait is no guarantee you'll catch anything. The tiger will probably just take your bait and you'll go home empty handed.

But if you're going to bait a tiger, you might want to use this:

It is an utter embarrassment to the SEC that they do that shite. Absolutely terrible in every imaginable way.

The gator chomp is up there, too. What are you, a bunch of 5 year olds playing a game of charades? frick off.

"Gig 'em Ags" is decent but the weird voodoo dances Aggies do scare me.

Gig em makes sense when they are playing TCU.

But then again, what would an Aggie do? Stab 'em with pitchforks? Plow 'em with your tractor? Sic Lassie on 'em?

So Gig 'Em is probably a better landing place than the other options.

I always feel unoriginal when I say "go/geaux Tigers"

Wish we had something better. Tiger bait is ok but it's not really an official chant

who cares- we're talking cheers. when you say it, it's 'go tigers' which is as absolutely generic as you can get.

This is true, but dies anyone else do a call and response across the stadium (half yelling gGeaux, the other half yelling Tigers? I'm curious. I don't think I've heard any other team do that, but my away game experience is fairly limited.

Poor little feller, WPS!!!

How about the cow Bell?
A rooster crowing on speakers in the stadium?
Aggie male cheerleaders holding hands?
Gator chomp?
Rocky fricking top?
Smell of fans, corndogs?
Hoddy Toddy?
Roll Damn Tide
A team called Tigers,War eagle & plainsmen

All schools have some goofy ways, but I enjoy all that it offers, that's college football!

That's the best you can do for LSU? Something that was meant for Nebraska fans and ripped off by an unoriginal Ole Piss fan who applied it to LSU?

Just so you know, this is a frog gig:

So Gigging is pretty much just stabbing 'em with a pitchfork.

"Tiger bait!" Is simple and makes sense

So simple that it was a complete rip off from Florida.

I thought Auburn ripped it off and Ole Miss claimed credit.

I like it when it's done in the stadium by people wearing pigs on their heads.

Otherwise it's just meh.

Only about 70% of FBS football programs.
