Trent Richardson tends to disagree.
How many freshman are as SEC ready as he was though? His powerlifting background did wonders for him.
Michael Ford was in the same boat. Physically he was ready.

How can someone who has yet to take a snap at teh college level be over-rated?

I say just play it by ear. It's only June and almost July. I think the coaches will go by the process of "the best player will play" method. Some have said he's built like Percy Harvin. I don't know. But it's better to make a judgement call during the season IF he sees the field on regular basis, even that remains to be seen. I think he'll get the first crack at KR/PR, and opportunities for some end-around plays to begin with. That's about as far as I can guess.

CGM said he has a striking resemblance to Felix Jones' style of play

so Trovon Reed who is a WR that could play CB has game like a RB?

he is not going to play CB. CGM said his first step and burst of speed are very similar to Felix. not sure whats wrong with that

nothing wrong with that...your first post was pretty vague

Nobody will know until the season gets here. I think it will be tough for him to get very much playing time as a freshman because of the WRs we have coming back in front of him that have age and experience going for them. Most AU fans I have talked to seem to agree he might get some playing time at kick or punt return and possibly some playing time at the slot position (similar to travante stallworth last year before he was hurt).

I'm pretty sure he'll be the greatest player in the history of football. He actually might already be.

Trovon is an all s.e.c. c.b. that wants to play offense. overated offensively, not hardly defensively.

Over-rated, over-hyped practically the same things.

Reed could be solid, but anyone expecting big things from him should mind the LSU fans' reaction to losing him out of state.
Can't be a good sign when he signs at a rival, and the hometown fans say, "meh".

I'd say let's give the kid 10 or 12 snaps at the college level before passing judgement. All I know is he had an offer from Arkansas and I would have been glad to have him playing for the Hogs.
