Or was LSU as a team weaker than expected? I have never seen a Bama team lay the wood to another team like that for 3 quarters. By the end of the 3rd we had knocked out their starting QB, (who is average) knocked out their "star" tailback (where the hell is K Williams by the way, is he still on the team) sent Pep Livingston to the sidelines, and PP was a permanent fixture on the Bryant-Denny Stadium turf. And then in the 4th, we knock out little Bob, the starting center.

I really don't recall ever seeing that many players have to get worked on during the game. One thing you can expect from a CNMFS coached team and that is to be hit with major amounts of pain. No one looks forward to playing us anymore.

We were just the stronger, bigger, and badder fricking team out for fricking blood.

Good game LSU. I do hope you make a BCS Bowl.

You are about to get lambasted. Haven't you read? The only reason bama won is because of the refs.

no. 1992 was. not even close. as a matter of fact, i would put them as possibly the best defense in the history of college football.

That was dominating bama defense jumping on Charles Scott back as he was 30 yards down field.

Yeah, you are probably right, but have you ever seen a Bama team just physically hit another team like that?

I made comments on the SEC ScoreBoard during the game that this was a heavyweight slug fest, and after the score cards were tallied Bama essentially won by Knock the frick Out. We were both swinging to knock each others heads off, but we were the ones that connected the most.

My hats off LSU, that was one of the hardest hitting games I have ever seen. That is the point of the thread. I just think we hit you harder than you hit us.

No it isn't. My perspective is Bama is a very beatable team. IMO previous LSU teams would have beat this years Bama team. If it was the strongest and toughest it would not have came down to blocking a fieldgoal to win a game against a mediocore Tenn. team.

It is a really good Alabama team. Very physical defense. Great running backs and receivers. Arenas is a great return man too.
LSU is not as good as we were 2003-2007 but I think next years team will play better than this year's.
Screw blaming it on the officials. We lost, Bama won.
Can't wait for next year's game in Tiger Stadium though-I think next year is LSU's year.

The 1992 team was very good with the great D and Derrick Lassic on offense, but everyone I talk to that remembers the 1979 team calls them the best Bama ever had.

So you are siding on the LSU was weaker than expected side of the argument. Ok, got it.

I don't know what fricking game you watched but you don't have that many people worked on during the game and one team not deliver a good old fashion country arse whuppin on the other. Hell I probably forgot about a hurt player because their were so many of them. And I'm not cheering anyone getting hurt before someone tries to spin it to that. I am stating FACTS.

That is Saban football 101. Remember when his defense almost killed JPW on a safety blitz?

Maybe according to the recruiting services before they spent time being developed. But its funny that LSU back ups scored as many touchdowns as LSU starters.

YOu can have the moral victory of our starters > your starters and PP > JJ.

Bama team > LSU team. Fact.

24 > 15. Fact.

DR. Andrews was there and he had to set up a triage on their sidelines. He was holding clinic.

I dont know if I would consider PP getting cramps and Scott hurting his shoulder after being pulled down would be "bringing the wood" if you are trying to judge a teams toughness by how many injuries they inflict.

Hopefully the d-bags on both sides will GTFO soon and give the regulars their board back.

Chicken needs to do a little E-ethnic cleansing.
